Medieval Muslim scholars making a mockery of the Holy Quran by their ignorance and stubborness

Until recently I thought that only Christianity had a big problem with enlightenment and science and that I have examined in many of my Google-knols, but, now I am becoming increasingly aware that the medieval Muslim scholars do not fair any better.  What do I mean?  Firstly, let me address the issue with Christianity by giving just two examples here:

Allopathic Medicine’s long struggle with the Bible

In Matthew 17 Jesus, on whom be peace, gives recipe for casting out the demons:

When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.” “O unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. ( Matt 17:14-20)
The world of the New Testament compilation was one with abundant demons and ghosts. Here are a few verses from the conclusion of the Mark, which talks of Mary Magdalene being possessed by seven demons, one may have metaphorical interpretation of these today but when these verses were written demons meant demons:
When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons. She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping. When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it. Afterward Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking in the country. These returned and reported it to the rest; but they did not believe them either. (Mark 16:9-13)
Two of the four canonical gospels carry the story of a woman who asks Jesus to exorcise a demon from her daughter. Unfortunately for her, she isn’t from Israel. (She is ‘Canaanite’ in one gospel, ‘Syrophoenician’ in another.) Jesus takes this into account and replies, with one of his less flattering allegories, “It is not fair to take the children’s food and throw it to the dogs.” Pathetically, the woman answers, “Yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table,” (Matthew 15:27) after which Jesus relents and tosses her some crumbs by tossing out the demons.  Click here to read further:

Religion and science: Eucharist

The Eucharist (play /ˈjuːkərɪst/), also called Holy Communion, the Sacrament of the Altar, the Blessed Sacrament, the Lord’s Supper, and other names, is a Christian sacrament or ordinance. It is celebrated in accordance with Jesus‘ instruction at the Last Supper as recorded in several books of the New Testament, that his followers do in remembrance of Him as when he gave his disciples bread, saying, “This is my body”, and gave them the cup, saying, “This is my blood”.[2][3] This description is borrowed from Wikipedia.  According to common Christian understanding, Jesus Christ is literally present in the bread and the wine at the time of the ritual.  However, let me concede in the very beginning that like most doctrines of Christianity, it is constantly being changed and evolved to suit the understanding of audience, so my article is to freeze some details in time, in an attempt to keep Christian apologists somewhat honest.

This is an article to show that ‘Eucharist’ is indeed the best example of paradox par excellence because it has been said that the best way to become thoroughly convinced that Eucharist or ‘transubstantiation’ is not true is to have someone try to convince you that it is true.

It is said that the English expression of hocus pocus had its origin in Eucharist, no less authority than Professor Phillip Cary mentions it in his lecture series History of Christian Theology. It is said that the etymology of the word can be traced to a distortion of hoc enim est corpus meum—’this is my body’—the words of consecration accompanying the elevation of the host at Eucharist . . . mocked by Puritans and others as a form of “magic words.” In all probability those common juggling words of hocus pocus are nothing else but a corruption of hoc est corpus, by way of ridiculous imitation of the priests of the Church of Rome in their trick of transubstantiation in Eucharist.
My apologies upfront if the language appears blunt at times. I am just trying to make a sincere point and not hurt any feelings. Forgive me if my writing skills do not allow for greater diplomacy.  Click here to read further:

Literal interpretation of the Quranic verses about the Prophet Solomon

By interpreting the verses of the Holy Quran literally, on many occasions inappropriately, the medieval Muslim scholars make a mockery of the Quran.  Here, I link a popular movie regarding the Prophet Solomon, which because of the faulty interpretation of some of the Quranic verses, by the medieval scholars, depicts the Jewish prophet Solomon in constant physical warfare against literal satans and demons, not only distorting Islam and logic but also the Jewish history:
Prophet Solomon is only one of scores of example where the medieval Muslims present an irrational interpretation of the Holy Quran.  Over time I will, God willing, collect many more examples here.

Today I came across some senseless claims about human bodies on the official website of Hezbut Tawheed.  I want to save them here in some detail, in case they change them over time and this historic silliness is lost to future generations:

Yet, for sometime now, we have been observing with great amazement that this universal law of death is being altered in the case of Hezbut Tawheed members. In the case of any member’s passing away, the body neither turns rigid nor does the temperature turn sub-normal. Their bodies retain their lifetime flexibility and normal temperature. In one case the condition has remained the same even 27 hours after apparent death. It is not even that they died in battle to establish Allah’s truth- they died from common illnesses and some of them from injuries received in accidents. Also, these incidents are not one or two in number, many and all properly documented and correlated with witnesses’ names and signatures – which can be provided. The fact of a dead body not turning rigid is in direct contrast to all laws of medical science – and an unprecedented occurrence. The question is – what can the explanation for these extra ordinary, natural law defying incidents be?

The only explanation is that the Almighty Allah has accepted the Dajjal resistant members of Hezbut Tawheed as shaheeds, martyrs even while they are alive. The Almighty has affirmed – “And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah, “dead”. They are living; they receive provision (Rezk) from their lord.”(Al Qur’an- Sura Baqara-154, Sura Emran-169). Therefore, the shaheeds, martyrs are living beings in the eyes of Allah. On the other hand, the Messenger of Allah has referred to those who resist the Dajjal as living shaheeds. Thus, in keeping with the word of Allah and His Rasul, those who are resisting the Dajjal of the Akheri Zamanah, i.e. the members of Hezbut Tawheed are not dieing, they are shaheeds, martyrs. And the fact of the matter is, members of Hezbut Tawheed who are actively involved in the resistance of the cursed Dajjal are earning the rewards of two shaheeds even in their lifetime. For this reason, their bodies do not go through the natural process of rigidity (Rigor Mortise) and icy coldness of death they remain soft and flexible. Although apparently death overcomes them, in truth they remain immortal; they just go behind the screen and disappear from our sight, when they are laid in their grave.
Therefore, it is proved beyond doubt that what the Hezbut Tawheed is resisting, e.g. the Judeo–Christian civilization is the Dajjal. Also, it is proven that Hezbut Tawheed is the group about which the Messenger of Allah prophesized so many centuries ago. This greatest glad tiding has been brought to you today. The chance to receive the unimaginable honors and prestige associated with the resistance of the Dajjal is before us to make use of. Therefore let us all partake in this unique opportunity to win the honor of two magnificent shahadats.[1]
