And they ask thee concerning the soul. Say, ‘The soul is by the command of my Lord; and of the knowledge thereof you have been given but little.’ (Al Quran 17:86)

These days I am listening to a Teaching Company course about consciousness, by Prof. Daniel N. Robinson, titled, Consciousness and its implications.  The Quranic verse about the soul quoted above is written all over this course, as a Freudian slip!
